Congratulations to the year 4 boys on winning their first matches last
Friday! Despite the wet and cold weather, they played amazingly and worked
well as a team!
As this year marks hundred years since World War One started, we have been
busy learning about the Great War. First, we generated some research
questions as a class, based on what we would like to find out about World
War One. In English we practised our comprehension skills by reading about
how the war started. In Maths we looked at shapes found in the flags of
countries who were involved in the war. Then this afternoon we worked with
Year 3 to create some lovely art work inspired by Poppies. Our poppies are
currently being displayed in the library and we will display our artwork in
Dear Year 4,
